I'm working on a painting that I wish I could show progress pictures of, but like most of my paintings (the one's I actually finish, that is..) It is a commissioned portrait. And like most commissioned portraits, it is a gift for someone. Since I am always paranoid that the giftees a portrait is for might stumble upon any pictures I might post before they receive their gifts (from the gifters...I think I might be stretching grammar here..) I never post pictures until a portrait is finished and given to the end recipient.
So. All I can say is I'm having a lot of fun painting something different. And I hope to get more commissions of this nature in the future.
In non-art-related news: I got a kitten. I now have two dogs and two cats (and a horse and a turtle). I don't think that's too many. Just enough, really.
I kid.
